Spiritual Care Available for Patients
Spiritual care is a type of support within healthcare that addresses a person’s spiritual, existential, and emotional needs, often in times of illness or crisis.
Spiritual care is for all belief systems.
It goes beyond physical and social well-being to help individuals find meaning, purpose, and hope, and can
involve various practices like listening, talking,
praying, exploring beliefs and finding new ways to
cope from a spiritual perspective.
- Those struggling to find forgiveness, hope and trust
- Those who are exploring their beliefs
- Those looking to find meaning and purpose
- Those dealing with a new diagnosis
- Those who find spirituality to be an important source of coping
- Those who have lost purpose and meaning in life
- Those needing a safe space to process how their diagnosis impacts their life
- Those afraid of dying
- Those needing to talk about the spiritual aspects of death and dying
There is no cost to visit for a spiritual care visit.
Our providers understand the importance of spiritual health and wellbeing in the lives of our patients and provide this service free of charge.
Currently in person visits take place at our Woodbury, Maple Grove and Edina clinics. Patients also have the option of scheduling a virtual visit, which allows the patient to remain in the comfort of their own home.
Spiritual care sessions are conducted by Jenni Eagleman, MDiv, Spiritual Care Provider, Reiki Master.
