Earlier this year, Change Healthcare, a healthcare technology company that provides services used by much of the US healthcare system, experience a cyberattack. The cyberattack caused a national outage and impacted the printing and mailing of patient statements, which required Minnesota Oncology to use a temporary solution that provided non-itemized statements.
We have found a permanent solution and Minnesota Oncology patients will again receive itemized statements. The statements will appear different than previous statements.

Please be assured these new statements are valid and should match your Explanation of Benefits received from your insurance provider. If you have questions, please call the number on your statement. We anticipate an increase in call volumes due to the new statements and appreciate your patience and understanding if you experience longer hold times.
- Outstanding patient balances are due upon receipt of statement. No late fees are charged.
- For questions or disputes to balance due, please call the number on your statement.
- Accounts that remain outstanding after three attempts to reach a patient via phone may be referred to collections for resolution.
- Payment plans are available. Please call the number on your statement to discuss.
- Accounts referred to collections are not reported to credit bureaus
