Philosophy of Care

Patients and caregivers can experience significant anxiety and trepidation about a cancer diagnosis, treatment and side effects and prognosis.  I am passionate about helping patients maintain their quality of life and manage symptoms that interfere with this.  While collaborating with the entire treatment team, I aim to bring honest and compassionate support to patients and their families during a difficult time.

Personal

I am a Twin Cities native but spent almost a decade in New York City where I pursued my nursing degrees.  My husband and I returned to Minnesota in 2015, and I worked for a number of years in Critical Care before transitioning to Palliative Care.  I am the mom of two sweet kids and enjoy being outdoors, running, biking, reading and drinking coffee.
