Minnesota Oncology is pleased to introduce our new Breast Surgical Oncologist, Ashlee Turner, DO

Minnesota Oncology is pleased to announce that Ashlee Turner, DO has recently joined our Bloomington clinic.

“Everyone’s cancer journey is different and it’s important that we take the time to work together to figure out a plan that is not only treating their cancer but also takes into consideration all other aspects of their lives.  My goal is to listen to every patient and to make sure that they feel well informed and confident with their individualized treatment plan.”

Dr. Turner received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Carolinas Campus in Spartanburg, SC. She completed her residency in General Surgery at Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace in Detroit, Michigan. Her fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology was completed at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Dr. Turner’s areas of special interest include:

  • Breast cancer
  • High risk breast conditions
  • Benign, non-cancerous breast conditions
  • High risk screening for family history or genetic risk of developing breast cancer

Outside of work Dr. Turner enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with family, friends and my pets!
