Minnesota Oncology Promotes Colorectal Cancer Awareness

Minnesota Oncology clinics participated in Dress in Blue Day on Friday, March 6 to promote Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Staff at our 11 Twin Cities Metro clinics wore blue along with special stickers as a reminder about colorectal cancer prevention and detection. Colorectal cancer is a disease in which cancer cells develop in the colon or rectum.  It is estimated by the American Cancer Society that approximately 132,700 cases of colorectal cancer will be diagnosed in the United States, and nearly 49,700 men and women will die of the disease this year. Get the latest facts about colorectal cancer prevention and detection here.
