{image_1}Minnesota Oncology is pleased to introduce our newest social worker, Kimberly Odden. Kimberly comes to Minnesota Oncology with an extensive social work background.  She has a bachelor of social work degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls along with social work experience in senior and assisted living care facilities, in a hospital setting, and most recently for home care patients.

As part of Minnesota Oncology’s social work team, Kimberly will assist patients with accessing various non-medical services throughout their treatment journey such as transportation resources to clinic appointments, communication and coping issues, support groups, non-medical financial assistance, and more. In addition, she will provide care coordination for patients, helping them get connected with supportive care resources, both internal and external to Minnesota Oncology including nutrition, palliative care, psychosocial, and survivorship services.

Kimberly will see patients at our Chaska, Edina, Waconia, and Woodbury locations.

“I look forward to helping patients along their journey, hoping to provide them with the tools they need to help the journey be as seamless as possible,” Kimberly says.
