For your convenience, Minnesota Oncology has nine laboratories within the organization. Our laboratories are certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Federal Department of Health & Human Services, as well as COLA and CLIA, two well-known and respected clinical laboratory accreditation agencies.

Our experienced clinical staff members are credentialed with associate or bachelor degrees in clinical laboratory science and are certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP). They are dedicated to providing timely and accurate results in the areas of hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis – and are proficient in phlebotomy. Any testing that cannot be done by Minnesota Oncology laboratories is sent to local reference and/or hospital laboratories.

CBC (complete blood count) blood results are very important to the care and treatment of oncology and hematology patients; therefore, we have invested in high-quality Sysmex instrumentation that provides accurate results in a timely manner.

We are here to provide quality and convenient services to our physicians and their patients.
