The Thoracic Oncology Program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care and treatment of lung and esophageal cancers at three locations:
Edina Clinic
Minneapolis Clinic – in collaboration with the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute
St. Paul Cancer Center – in collaboration with St Paul Lung Clinic
Management of these cancers involves a number of specialties and disciplines. We take an interdisciplinary approach by involving the primary care physician, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeon, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, registered dietitian, and our nursing staff – striving to provide seamless transitions throughout the cancer journey.
In addition to the above services, Dr. Jacques and Dr Graczyk also provide care for benign thoracic patients, including management of lung nodules.
These many components of care are knit together through the dedicated presence of the Thoracic Oncology Nurse Navigator, who makes the connections, assures communication between all specialists and supports the patient and family throughout their care.
Cancer treatment can affect an individual’s functional ability, health, spirituality, cultural traditions and overall quality of life.
Our Nurse Navigators will…
