Everyone diagnosed with cancer and going through treatment has unique needs and challenges. Maintaining and maximizing nutritional status is always the goal as it relates to overall health and well-being.
Nutrition therapy goes hand-in-hand with the many aspects of cancer care that you may encounter and can answer many of your nutritional questions.
• How does one know how many calories are needed daily to prevent weight loss and maintain energy?
• How much protein is needed to maintain muscle mass?
• How much fluid to prevent dehydration?
• Should vitamins, minerals, herbs and supplements be utilized or could they be harmful?
Whatever your nutritional questions and concerns are – please feel free to make an appointment to visit with one of our Licensed Dietitians.
