Fridley Cancer Center Grand Opening
Minnesota Oncology joined in the gala grand opening ceremony at the new Fridley Cancer Center on the Unity Hospital campus in November.
This 60,000 square foot medical office building is a single source location serving the comprehensive needs of cancer patients in the northern suburbs and is the newest location of Multicare Associates Primary and Specialty Clinic, MultiCenter Physical Therapy, MAPS Medical Pain Clinics, Goodrich Pharmacy and the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute in partnership with Minnesota Oncology.
The new Minnesota Oncology clinic offers expanded space in a beautiful and peaceful environment and includes a resource center, integrative care opportunities and cancer rehabilitation services in conjunction with VPCI, Penny George Institute and the Sister Kenny Institute.
A lovely hors d’oeuvre and dessert buffet and live music greeted guests as staff, civic leaders and the community toasted this wonderful addition to the Unity Hospital campus. The facility was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks by leaders of each component of the center.
